Amabilis Mountain (4,560ft)

We headed up east of the crest in search of the least wet weather for the day. After parking at a sno-park that I only later realized also required a groomed-trail car sticker, we put on skis and started skinning uphill. Surprisingly, the whole trail up Amabilis was a groomed cross-country ski trail. We made much faster progress than I had expected, and 5 miles later were at the exposed summit. The predicted rain was not too bad, and we skied back to the car soon after.
