Looking up at Humpback during a lull in the rain

It was a rainy weekday before classes started so I decided to hike some peaks below treeline close to town. I started with humpback, hiking up the trail on the northwest ridge in about an hour. It started raining on top and continued most of the rest of my hike. I descended then hiked up a gravel road and trail to little saint Helens. I bushwhacked down the north side to a road then took that up Gardner. After bushwhacking over to North Gardner I returned on the road and tagged scout patrol peak. I jogged back to the car before too late.
