Snoqualmie Lake
Oct 17-18, 2020
Eric and Katie
We drove up the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River Saturday morning and started hiking in mid day. After an 8-mile hike we reached the shore of Snoqualmie Lake and, surprisingly, had it all to ourselves. Clouds were descending and it was pretty chilly. We found a good campsite on the lakeshore and spent an hour gathering firewood. Everything was soaked, but I managed to find some dry kindling underneath a fallen log and we managed to eventually get a good fire going for dinner.
It rained basically all night and the next morning, and we got pretty soaked hiking back out through much deeper creek crossings.
